Corporate and Commercial Art Solutions

Art makes a statement, projects an attitude, a point of view, an opinion. In fact, it's a reflection of your organization's personality. Placing artwork into a ANY environment has potential far more than just trying to match the couch.

What is the first thing a visitor sees when they enter your lobby or office? A faded poster? A wall of documents? When it comes to art and framing, the cliche holds true...first impressions last.

If you ever visit Duke Raleigh Hospital, or one of the newer branches of Capital Bank, you will see how original art and specific prints makes a beautiful difference. Over the years we have placed hundreds of original works (and local artist giclee fine art prints) in hospitals, banks, law firms and more. It's a proven fact in most environments that original art or even imagery of recognizable scenes helps to de-stress, even HEAL patients. Simply put, art doesn't just look good, it feels good.

Original art or prints featuring local scenes in a workplace is known to have a positive effect on employees and visitors.We have seen deposits go up in a bank where art by local artists painting local scenes adds a feeling of trust towards the institution. Art is a win win.

What makes Nicole's Studio & Gallery different? As an artist-owned gallery we are networked with hundreds of other artists. Tapping into these resources has helped us place countless works into numerous Corporate settings. With Duke Raleigh, we started by commissioning artists to paint iconic Raleigh secnes. The success of this initial art project evolved into 5 floors of original art and hundreds of giclee prints by local artists in patient rooms. With a regional bank, we searched for professional NC artists who literally live near the new branches and commissioned them to paint their community! Seven branches and a hundred paintings later, the bank has elevated local artwork to a new standard while enhancing their community branches.

The Greater Greenville Community Foundation

Finally, we are a staffed professional gallery able to listen and share ideas based on your needs. We will come by your location, view the spaces, share ideas and depending on the size of the project, present options by creating a web page specifically for your company. We will bring chosen paintings to your site for you to see in place. Finally we will hang your new artwork and even provide a booklet with the paintings and artists bios for you to display.

Art in Healing

Walking through the halls and floors of Duke Raleigh Hospital you will see how original art makes a beautiful difference in the environment effecting patients, visitors, doctors and nurses. Over the years we have placed over 30 original works (and 100 fine art prints) throughout Duke Raleigh, on every floor in every department and every patient room. The project required a combination of iconic Raleigh scenes that we commissioned combined with NC scenic images to help de-stress and even HEAL patients. The Duke Raleigh Art Committee, "Art in Healing" which Nicole Kennedy is a member, chose works from many venues throughout NC.
The paintings here are by artists from Nicole's Studio & Art Gallery and represent a smapling of the works that went into this large project that spanned a few years as the hospital renovated each floor. The patients rooms are decorated with a giclee fine art print of NC painted b artists represented in Nicole's Gallery.

Why does a bank collect original art for their newest branches? Number one, it makes the new branches look beautiful , friendly and inviting. And secondly, it actually helps lure new business. Capital Bank contacted Nicole Kennedy with the taskof finding porofessioabnal artiusts whi could paint a downtown scene where the branch was located and to fill the walls with professional paintings by “local to the branch” artists. Nicole’s Studio & Gallery had the task of locating dozens of artists and filled new bank branches from Hope Mills to Oxford NC with 100’s of beautiful paintings and prints of North Carolina scenes by North Carolina Artists. The bank learned that folks who came to their branch might recognize a store, scene or farm in their locale..or even know the artist. Honoring the community this way creates a sense of pride, and trust. Not to mention showcasing the beauty of North Carolina.

==========

We are proud to have been one of the galleries chosen to provide art for their permanent collection in both office locations of Shanahan Law Group. Walking into their offices is like walking into someone's home where the art collection varies from abstract to realism even the same room. Partner owner, Kieran Shanahan's love for original art has bold tastes and is not afraid to mix up styles and have a little fun. The overall result is eye-popping orginality and impact. The pieces shown here are fom Nicole's Art Gallery artists. Many galleries and artists in NC and beyond are in the permanent collection of Shanhan Group Law Offices.

Many Corporate Clients locate us through this very web like Wells Fargo Financial Advisors. Every project has a strategy and our client desired several things: 1- to bring local artists and NC scenery to their offices.
2. To choose scenes that were in a sense, aspirational... a drive to the mountains, strolling downtown streets and culture, a beautiful vacation beach, hiking into nature. By choosing paintings where we would like to visit, or even live in as a second or retirement home, we hope the art helped them get a return on their investment!!
